Three Fun Things To Do At Home On Halloween Night
Hello sweet pumpkins,
I hope you are having a great week so far.
Even though work has been stressful this week, knowing that I will spend Halloween with my family this year at home makes it all worth it.
Anyway, here are three “pandemic-free” activities you can do at home with your family on Halloween night.
1. Go “ghosting”
Ok, it’s not what you are thinking.
Please don’t go knocking on your neighbor’s door and running off saying Jenny told you to do so.
It’s Treat, not Tricking.
Create a treat bag of goodies for a friend or neighbor and leave it on their doorstep with a note inside to pass it on (as in, create a new treat bag and "ghost" someone else).
It's a festive way to spread some socially distanced holiday cheer.
All your neighbors must be feeling a bit annoyed and down as well.
That they may have to be locked in their bat caves this year due to social distancing measures and the pandemic ongoing.
Who says you only give presents during Christmas anyway?
2. Make a spooky snack
Since you might not be able to do traditional Halloween activities like going to a haunted house or trick-or-treating with friends.
You can channel more of your energy into creating a stunning spread of spooky snacks.
Make a pumpkin pie or some Halloween-themed cookies.
Whether it be ghost cookies, bat cookies or pumpkin cookies, you decide.
Just remember to send some my way so I can enjoy some of them for myself too. (if you have extra of course)
Oh I can smell those cookies already, Mmmmm...
3. Do a Tarot Card Reading
Now, apart from crystals and astrology, I am interested in tarot card reading as well.
A friend of mine happens to be a reader and she tells me all sorts of interesting things about my life.
So if you are into Tarot cards or would like to try something new, Light a few candles and see what's in the cards for your future.
For a unique experience, hire a professional to do a private Tarot consultation on Zoom.
Who knows? Something beautiful may come out of it.
Now, I am sure you can come up with plenty more ideas to do at home on Halloween.
With the Internet, it has never been easier to not be bored at home.
You can simply watch a horror movie on Netflix if you are into some scaring as well.
Or watch your favorite Youtuber and see how she/he is celebrating Halloween.
And I know this too early to say this but… Happy Halloweennn!
Don’t let the ghosts spoook you to death.
